The beans have the fragrance of cocoa nib, burlap, tea tree, roasted bell pepper, maple sugar, tomato, allspice, banana chip, freeze-dried raspberry, Meyer lemon pith, malt, and fresh tobacco

The grounds have the fragrance of sun-dried tomato, smack, skyr, jasmine, fresh hickory, dried cherry, lime pith, meat-like, roasted walnut, acorn squash, damp soil, and cocoa powder

CUPPING

The aroma is of oak, raisin, soil, sumac, freeze-dried raspberry, fresh tobacco, cantaloupe, tomato, quash blossom, burlap, oregano, dutch process cocoa, and orange blossom

This is a full-body coffee that has a slick velvety texture that finishes slightly sticky and is thick like of syrup

This is a medium-high acidity that is bright and tart of citrus but mellows to a sweet berry-like acidity that’s delicate and lingering.

The flavor is of pink grapefruit, leather, sun-dried tomato, cream fresh, burlap, sumac, blood orange, papaya, goji, fresh tobacco, coffee cherry, rooibos tea, raw Marcona almond, summer savory, cherry blossom, rose hips, malt, cocoa powder, strawberry, and soil

As it cools the notes of blood orange develop more along with lemon curd and pickled watermelon

The grounds have the fragrance of tart cherry, raspberry, blackberry, Cara cara orange marmalade, black apricot, bakers chocolate, goji, sun-dried tomato, adobo, burlap, tamarind, black grape, tasted hop, yogurt, freeze-dried strawberry, vanillin, barley, and cashew


CUPPING

The aroma is of  raspberry, burlap, black apricot, plum cherry blossom, goji, almond, freeze-dried strawberry,  vanillin, barley, roasted bell pepper, elderberry, bakers chocolate, tamarind, freeze-dried strawberry, Demerara sugar, and greek yogurt 

This is a full-body coffee that has a velvety coating tapering to a thick syrupy feel that is slick and juicy 

This is a mild acidity that has a berry sweetness with a delicate clean apple-like tartness in the back finishing with a bright and potted complexity

The flavor is of black apricot, strawberry, elderberry, white cranberry, bakers chocolate, goji, sun-dried tomato, sumac, tamarind, black grape, yogurt,  vanillin, barley, blue corn,  molasses, cascara syrup, black tea, stout beer, roasted black walnut, sal de mar, and grilled pink grapefruit.

As it cools notes of posted pinion develop along with a wide grapefruit jam. The berry notes have mostly dissipated and has more of a citrus and earthy taste.


Asobu Chemex

The aroma is of more of a cream with notes of caramel and puffer rice, no notes of berry

The body is much like cupped but has a tea-like finish

The acidity is much higher with a tart forward that is lingering like of white grapefruit pith

The flavor greek yogurt, nougat, Oro Blanco grapefruit, black tea, dried cranberry, goji, oak, vanillin, barley, elderberry, and soil.

Can not recommend this coffee on this
