Bean Inspection

The beans are over-roasted with lots of them having spots along with most of their oil covering the beans.

There are also lots of fragments and found a small chunk of wire.

There are some with evidence of insect damage


The beans have the fragrance of leather, tobacco, onyx cocoa powder, iodine, musk, ash, dried cranberry, strawberry, dried navel orange, oak, plantains, metallic, black sesame oil, and dried mushroom

The grounds have the fragrance of moss, dirty water, ash, clove, bakers cocoa, oak, white cranberry, roasted sapote, plantain, and orange blossom


CUPPING

The aroma of this coffee is of leather, musk, ash, dutch process cocoa powder, dried apricot, white cranberry, blue corn, plantain, metallic, alfalfa, clove, roasted black tea, and dried mushroom

This is a medium body coffee that is chewy with a tea-like if not water constancy with is like drinking ash water

This Is a low acidity coffee that is unbalanced with a sharp and deep forward that is lingering and dirty

The flavor of this coffee is of ash, hickory, weak black tea, leather, tobacco, and mushroom powder

As it cools the ash notes are more developed and overpowering

The body is just as cupped

The acidity is just as cupped

The flavors of the cup are of ash, powdered mushroom, tobacco, and iodine
