COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The quality of the cold brewed coffee that goes into Texas Exile is important to us. That’s why we hooked up with MA coffee roaster Barismo. These guys are as serious about coffee as we are about beer. About 33 gallons of cold brewed coffee goes into each batch of Texas Exile right before fermentation, adding the perfect compliment to the brown sugar and oatmeal flavors of this huge imperial porter. Breakfast just got a punch in the neck.

This is a high alcohol beer at 10.5%

The appearance Pours a 99% opaque black color with a 1/4 inch light brown head that retains a bit before becoming a thick ring around the edge of the glass

The aroma of this is of orange zest, dark roasted coffee, dark chocolate, black cherry, chicory, and roasted clove

The taste of this beer is of dark chocolate with some char, liquid smoke. There is no taste of the coffee and is very thick and has notes of orange blossom, black cherry, and oak with a very bitter roasted hop aftertaste that last till the finish
